Michaella Russell

Michaella Russell is an LA based actor originally from South Africa. In her home country, Michaella excelled not only as a theatrical talent but also as a TV presenter, model and writer.

Since moving to the United states in 2019 Michaella has starrred in a string of feature films first as the lead in 2020’s Echoes of Violence, a feature film interrogating the dark underbelly of the sex slave trade within America’s borders. Then as Veroncia in the 2021 comedy; It’s Not You It’s Me and served as part of the ensemble cast for the 2022 political comedy drama Lee’d The Way. In 2024, Micahella was one of the primary cast members for the horror-mystery, AMFAD: All My Friends Are Dead, directed by acclaimed slasher writer-director Marcus Dunstan and starring JoJo Siwa as well as Jade Pettyjohn. Most recently Michaella was offered a supporting role in the horror-thriller film The Last Bride, set to be released early 2025. The actress has enjoyed success in the horror genre and as a result has gone on to delve into the world of new-age scream-queens, even speaking on this vein of industry and its future at the 2024 LA Comiccon.
