Julianna Politsky
Starting in the Agency world, Julianna joined Legendary Entertainment in 2011 as they built out their 1st Production department. Currently a Coordinator at Legendary she has worked from script to screen on over 20 films including 42, Pacific Rim, Godzilla, Kong, Pokémon and Alejandro Iñárritu’s Oscar award VR project Carne Y Arena.
Seeing a need for women to connect – In 2016 she founded a Women in Entertainment event called Project PETRA. Events are held in LA and NYC with a 600+ roster of women from all areas of the Entertainment Industry. The mission is to promote equality through real action and connect with other like-minded women. Through this and her passion for creating she champions strong female and representative talent and content to help get more representation in front of and behind the camera. With her industry knowledge and people connecting skills – she has advised projects/talent that have helped get them funding, repped or on the radar of industry professionals. Recognized as someone in the know and with an eye for talent and content – she has sat on numerous panels at Sundance, UCLA, NYFA, Hired Heroes, Film Commissions, Film Festivals and judges for numerous festivals in the industry. Julianna sits on the Ohio Film Commission board helping projects get to her home state as she believes you always give back to where you came from.
